RS South Africa recently showcased its latest industrial and electronic solutions at the Mining and Technical Exhibition (MTE) in Phalaborwa in Limpopo. This event forms part of RS South Africa’s ongoing commitment to supporting key industrial and mining sectors across the country with advanced tools, automation technologies and maintenance solutions.
Phalaborwa is home to Palabora Copper, Africa’s widest man-made hole and a key contributor to the local economy. RS South Africa showcased durable, mining-ready technologies engineered for harsh environments, including automation systems, PPE, tools and instrumentation.
“Whether it’s the rugged mining operations in Phalaborwa or other demanding industrial environments, RS South Africa is committed to delivering innovative, reliable solutions. We assist our customers to reduce downtime, improve efficiency and meet their sustainability and safety goals,” says Erick Wessels, sales director at RS South Africa.
At the expo, RS South Africa’s team was on hand to provide live demonstrations, answer technical questions and engage directly with plant engineers, maintenance teams and procurement specialists.
RS South Africa’s exhibit featured a wide array of solutions, including:

Visitors were also able to explore RS South Africa’s private-label brand, RS PRO, comprising over 90 000 value-driven products across multiple industrial technologies. With a digital catalogue of more than 800 000 products from 2500 global suppliers, RS offers easy online ordering and fast delivery across South Africa, helping mining and industrial customers minimise downtime and optimise operations.
