Easy to assemble cylinder kits

Following intense market demand, hydraulics cylinder specialist, Hytec Engineering has introduced the popular E250 hydraulic cylinder series as loose kits. They are designed to give a high degree of reliability in automotive, light industrial and agricultural applications. They are available ex-stock countrywide through the Hytec Group’s extensive branch network and throughout sub-Saharan Africa via its African sales offices.

The easily assembled and cost effective E250 series cylinders feature ground and chrome plated EN8 rods for longer life on gland seals and enhanced shaft surface protection, while the ST52 cylinder barrel is honed to N4 finish for longer seal life. With bore sizes ranging from 40 to 125 mm in diameter, and rod sizes from 20 to 70 mm, the cylinders are designed to operate at a nominal pressure of up to 25 MPa. Piston rods and barrels can also be supplied, as well as various mounting options, and alternative port sizes and port positions are available.

Parts for the cylinder kits, which are imported from Italian hydraulic cylinder specialists, Naldoni E Biondi, consist of end cap, piston, piston nut, two ports and a gland and seal kit.

“Just one of the benefits of the E250 kits is that the end-user can assemble a cylinder immediately,” says Chris Greyvenstein, project manager at Hytec Engineering. “A high quality cylinder can be built to European quality standards and workmanship, with complete service support and design backup available through Hytec Engineering.” He adds that Hytec Engineering carries a wide range and large stockholding of the kits in its warehouse in Spartan, Johannesburg.
