Efficient exploration with ThyssenKrupp
3rd Quarter 2014
Hydraulic systems & components
From the first recording of a hand-held hammer drill in 1902, Krupp has employed state-of-the-art engineering and development techniques to design a range of modern drifters and rotary heads that offer high quality operational readiness of the highest standard. Whether an operation requires rock drifters that can deliver 140–840 Nm impacts to the work face at rates of 60 Hz, or rotary heads to provide torques up to 48 300 Nm for shaft diameters of up to 115 mm, Krupp can deliver. With the ability to adjust the impact frequency to suit different soils, optional flushing heads, damping mechanisms and a choice between electric or hydraulic switching, Krupp offers customised cost-effective drilling and rotary solutions which can be relied on.
Lindos Hydraulics is South Africa’s official ThyssenKrupp rotary technology distributor, and is able to combine Krupp drifters and rotary heads with Linde heavy duty pumps, Stauff accessories and Hydrotechnik measurement systems to offer customised electric or diesel power packs for on-site operation in top surface or explosive environments, or for testing of repaired units.

Hydraulic systems & components
Those working with hydraulic or pneumatic systems know that keeping your machinery running at peak performance balances productivity and cost. As systems age, they often become less efficient, requiring more energy and more frequent repairs. The good news is that you don’t always need to invest in an entirely new machine to solve these problems.
