Commercial Shearing offers new Parker pump range

4th Quarter 2014 Hydraulic systems & components

Commercial Shearing, the longstanding stocking distributor for Parker commercial aluminium and cast iron gear pumps in South Africa, has expanded this range to include the Parker GPA and GP1 range of light to medium duty gear pumps, along with the well-known F1 and F2 range of single- and dual-flow bent axis piston truck pumps.

Commercial Shearing owner, Ken Beaumont says, “We have been looking for an opportunity to combine with Parker on another of its well-established product lines, and the synergy between our two ranges of products made it difficult for us to look further than Parker’s GPA and GP1 range of gear pumps and F1 and F2 piston truck pumps. While we already stock the gear pump range, which is used by operators of light trucks, we have now placed our first stock order for the F1 and F2 range of pumps, previously known as the Volvo brand. These are renowned for their high efficiency and unsurpassed reliability. We expect them to be available to the South African market before the end of the year.”

The F1 and F2 ranges can be used on cargo cranes, hook loaders, skip loaders, tippers, forest cranes, concrete mixers and similar truck applications. They have a displacement from 25 – 118 cc/rev that reduces noise level, enhances reliability, with high-speed self-priming, and increased overall efficiency. The truck gear pumps are the ideal solution for operators of light trucks seeking a high quality solution for their hydraulic power needs. Information on the Parker truck pump catalogue can be found at http://tinyurl.com/m7zmzmd. “Our superior service and technical backup adds considerable value to a high quality product,” concludes Beaumont.
