Avoid fatalities with Faster

2nd Quarter 2017 Hydraulic systems & components

Site engineers need to be extremely careful when staff are connecting attachments to hydraulically powered vehicles. The slightest error or negligent action could be fatal and extremely costly. The Faster Multi Faster system and quick release couplings allow for fast, easy and safe attachment and removal of hydraulic work tools and equipment.

Changing attachments is made easy. Faster has designed its range according to international standards that meet strict interchangeability specifications and performance standards. The Multi Faster comes with a complete range of high-performing flat face quick release couplings to comply with the standard. The solid construction helps withstand severe working environments and conditions. There are many variations in the range to cater for light applications such as skid steer and multi-utilities to heavy duty applications. The range encompasses systems equipped with six ½” flat face quick release couplings or systems for very high pressure applications, a new concept for multi-utility vehicles. It has a compact design with four lines and multi-installation options. Such safe features prevent accidental disconnections or partial unscrewing of the main sleeve as a result of vibration.

A further benefit is the capability to connect the hydraulic lines within the system, even under residual pressure. Faster has also unveiled hydraulic connection solutions for diagnosis and maintenance applications, which are interchangeable worldwide according to ISO 15171-1. Safety Faster’s complete range of VU series check valves offers a variety of safety features. These can be used when it is necessary to keep a certain maximum pressure value within the hydraulic system (operating as a check valve) or to prevent potentially dangerous situations in the case of a hose rupture (operating as a non-return or parachute valve).
