Voith’s efficient drive solutions
September 2010
Hydraulic systems & components
Voith will exhibit a range of efficiently designed and engineered mining products at Electra Mining 2010.
Voith coupling technology will be showcased through a selection of leading products. Voith couplings are internationally respected and used for connecting the prime mover with the driven machine and driven machinery. The TurboSyn friction turbo coupling range offers increased output by combining the advantages of hydrodynamics and mechanical slip-free power transmission.
The reliable range of TPKL Fill Controlled turbo couplings, oil filled T couplings and water filled T couplings for sensitive environments will also be on display. The VTZA team will be on standby to discuss the merits of Voith coupling technology.
Also on show will be the tried and trusted Falk TRUE HOLD anti-reversal backstop or holdback devices. Designed to eliminate the possibility of gravitational runaway of loaded inclined conveyors, they ensure conveyor safety and equipment protection.
Voith’s braking technology will be highlighted for the first time by the unique Dellner hydraulic disc brakes, recently added to the already extensive range of drum brakes, hydraulic clutches and brakes, and hydraulic operated disc brakes.
The internationally acclaimed range of modular, interchangeable, fifth generation Grindex submersible electrical pumps will also be on view. The Grindex range is suited to virtually any drainage application and delivers superior efficiency and performance.

Hydraulic systems & components
Those working with hydraulic or pneumatic systems know that keeping your machinery running at peak performance balances productivity and cost. As systems age, they often become less efficient, requiring more energy and more frequent repairs. The good news is that you don’t always need to invest in an entirely new machine to solve these problems.
