Hydromobile SA imports a wide variety of hydraulic components and is the sole distributor for Vivoli, Italy. All Hydromobile's geared pumps are imported from Vivoli.
Vivoli is now producing a new series of 'group 3' gear pumps, which combines this manufacturer's experience with the most recent finite element methods applied in engineering.
The sizes in the group 3 range that are imported include: 15, 26, 38, 47, 54, 64 and 74 cc. The maximum pressure ranges from 19 MPa to 32 MPa depending on the size of the pump. The minimum speed is 700 rpm and max speed from 2300 rpm to 3000 rpm. The imported range has a 1:8 taper shaft and a standard European 4-bolt flange.
Hydromobile also stocks a full range of hydraulic components; it is a high-volume supplier of Hystar solenoid valves, Dinoil hand control valves, Filpro Italy filters and accessories, Hydr-app mini AC and DC powerpacks as well as various other products. The company has developed into one of the largest power pack suppliers in South Africa with a qualified technical team to back the company's commitment to quality, reliability, service and cost effectiveness.
Hydromobile has recently completed a refurbishment on a proportional hydraulic laminating press for Sonae Novobord in Nelspruit. Due to this refurbishment it has managed to increase its production by 37 %. Hydromobile is constantly involved with interesting projects, one of the more recent ones is a mobile power pack powered by a diesel engine. This mobile unit can be used for various applications such as transformer lifting, jacking of platforms and the correction of derailed coaches. (See photograph of power pack).
Hydrocylinder imports include ready machined components such as glands, pistons, end caps, ports, Nylock nuts and seal kits from Italy - as well as rod and barrel of a high quality. Hydrocylinder also imports a variety of clevises, trunnions and flange mounts. Hydromobile is able to ensure speedy deliveries on its manufacture of cylinders as all the components are ex stock and ready to be assembled.
Hydromobile and Hydrocylinder pride themselves on friendly and efficient service. "Customer satisfaction to us is paramount to the development of our business."
Courses
Hydromobile offers a three-day training course as a service to its customers. The course is designed to give students a better understanding of products available in the industry as well as how the products work. The next is being held from the 1 to 3 June 2005.
