Control and signalling component leader Schneider Electric has introduced multiple-headed spring return pushbuttons within its Harmony XB4 metal and Harmony XB5 plastic ranges.
The new double and triple-headed push-buttons are robust, ergonomic and easy to install. The push-buttons offer a high degree of protection – up to IP66 and IP69K – without the need of a boot and are equipped with either a third STOP function button or a pilot light with LED. Customisation is achieved through new tamperproof markings and pushbutton cap colours.
The XB4 is aimed at standard industrial applications, while the XB5 is targeted at applications requiring a high resistance to chemical agents and/or double electrical insulation. This means that the XB5 will be attractive to machine manufacturers, in marine applications and the chemical industry, paper mills, and the food and beverage sector.
