Bosch Rexroth, represented locally by the Hytec group of companies, is now offering the latest in its series of tried and tested A4VSO high-pressure pumps.
Bosch Rexroth’s A4VSO pump, used with HFC fluids
Designed for use with HFC fluids, these pumps combine the advantages of flame retardency with a long service life.
“HFC fluids consist of a solution of polymers in water. Thanks to a new bearing concept and specifically designed shaft seal, Bosch Rexroth can compensate for the wear-promoting properties of solutions containing water. In addition, the company has been able to reduce the cavitation that can occur,” explains Freddie Kühn, Hytec’s operations manager.
The latest version of the A4VSO high-pressure pump has the same performance as the one designed for mineral oil. In addition, systems which use HFC media can operate with smaller hydraulic components. This has a favourable effect on purchase price, operating cost and space requirements.
This innovation works especially well for hydraulic systems in steelworks, presses, the mining sector, the shipbuilding industry and offshore applications.
