BMG distributes Enerpac hydraulic products
1st Quarter 2011
Hydraulic systems & components
BMG Hydraulics has been appointed as a distributor of the Enerpac range of hydraulic cylinders, pumps and related products. This range includes tools and equipment for virtually any industrial segment – from the smallest cylinder to computer controlled systems for lifting huge structures.
A new range of electric pumps, which requires 18% less power draw than comparable pumps on the market, has recently been launched on the local market. The new high efficiency pump design also results in higher oil flow and bypass pressure, as well as lower operating temperatures. Other features include an adjustable relief valve built in on all valves fitted to these pumps, steel reservoirs and robust carrying handles or lifting eyes. A totally enclosed, fan cooled motor with a steel fan guard ensures extended life of the unit.
Additional accessories include a pressure transducer, steel cage, filter, heat exchanger and oil level switch. These features enhance the power packs by enabling the user to read pressure information clearly displayed on a digital screen. Information – like the number of applications the pump has performed and when the unit needs a service – is readily available. As a safety feature, the system automatically cuts out if voltage is too low on the 220 V units.
Pumps in the new Enerpac range include the ZE-series, which has been designed for extended, high speed and heavy-duty cycle applications, with medium to large size cylinders and tools and ZE standard electric pumps with manual valves.
The series also includes ZE electric pumps with light-emitting diodes (LCD) and manual or solenoid valves. Back-lit LCDs in the electric box provide self-test, diagnostic and read-out capabilities – a new feature on industrial pumps.
BMG Hydraulics combines quality branded components, hydraulic engineering and contamination control, as well as a test and repair service, to ensure optimum performance and extended service life of every hydraulic system.

Those working with hydraulic or pneumatic systems know that keeping your machinery running at peak performance balances productivity and cost. As systems age, they often become less efficient, requiring more energy and more frequent repairs. The good news is that you don’t always need to invest in an entirely new machine to solve these problems.
