Piping without welding
2nd Quarter 2011
Hydraulic systems & components
Hyflo has the sole agency for GS-Hydro, a world leader in non-welded piping. The technology is based on flanges and pipe-end preparation machines designed and developed by GS-Hydro. A wide range of flanges are used to create extremely robust joints which can withstand the high pressures encountered in hydraulic piping applications.
Due to the high quality seamless piping used, bending of piping is carried out using specialised pipe benders. No welding is required for tight 90° bends, even in large bore piping up to 600 mm. In the absence of welding, the system is inherently clean, as well as flexible and easy to install. It is environmentally friendly as there is no need for chemical cleaning and no hazardous waste to dispose of. The technology offers a high quality, cost-efficient alternative to welded piping systems, cutting traditional piping costs and reducing installation time dramatically.
Hyflo has invested in the equipment necessary to carry out these piping installations and is capable of a total piping system delivery which covers engineering, delivery of materials and components, prefabrication, and onsite services including installation, flushing, testing, start-up and commissioning.
The piping component and accessories include all the necessary parts of a complete piping system: pipes and tubes, valves, fittings, connectors, flanges, clamps, and hoses. Hyflo also provides a complete documentation package covering installation and assembly manuals, all necessary test reports and material certificates, and approvals from various classification authorities.
Both Hyflo and GS Hydro have ISO 9001:2000 quality system approval and type approval for all major third party inspection authorities.

Hydraulic systems & components
Those working with hydraulic or pneumatic systems know that keeping your machinery running at peak performance balances productivity and cost. As systems age, they often become less efficient, requiring more energy and more frequent repairs. The good news is that you don’t always need to invest in an entirely new machine to solve these problems.
