Hydrocylinder manufactures a full range of agricultural cylinders known as the Harvesta range. This is a registered trade mark of Hydrocylinder. The Harvesta is a welded construction cylinder which can be fitted directly in place of the common tie-rod cylinder. The important dimensions and mountings are identical to the tie-rod cylinder – the difference lies in the components and construction.
The Harvesta has a seal kit which comprises a 5-piece DAS system, polyurethane gland seal and wiper, which along with the welded end cap produce a superior sealing arrangement that has little or no chance of leaking. The cylinder has an allowable working pressure of 210 bar. The chromed rod is CK45 material and fine tolerance tubing is grade ST52.3. The screw-in glands are manufactured from meehanite, a high grade of cast iron, and the pistons are from mild steel.
All components and raw materials are imported from Europe and along with the exceptional standard of workmanship, this results in a high quality end product. A wide range of the Harvesta cylinders are kept in stock at all times, alternatively they can be made up within a day or two. Hydrocylinder’s dedicated staff work as a team to support their customers with the goal of maintaining complete customer satisfaction.
