Wear-free alternative to electromechanical shaft

The closed loop differential pump (CLDP) servo drive is setting new standards in hydraulics. Unlike electromechanical shafts, this self-contained linear drive offers a high level of overload protection and wear free operation. Power and position control are simple and precise. In addition, the servo drive is compact and features easy system integration.
The CLDP servo drive can be used for all direct linear motions, especially when dynamic response, reproducibility and reliability are needed. Enhanced productivity, thanks to the speed of the drive, and longer lifetime are attractive features for plant operators. The servo drive covers a power range of up to 500 kN and speeds of up to 1 m/s.
The servo drive design is simple – the heart of the unit is an integrated servo pump. The motion of the motor is directly linked to the cylinder movement so that the rotational speed and direction of the servo motor determine the cylinder’s speed and direction of motion. This makes it a simple matter to implement the varied speed and travel profiles.
The self-contained compact drive operates in a closed circuit and is equipped only with electronic interfaces. There‘s no need for typical hydraulic components such as a power pack, valves, pipes and hoses. The CLDP servo drive combines the benefits of electromechanical shaft drives with those of hydraulics.

Hydraulic systems & components
Those working with hydraulic or pneumatic systems know that keeping your machinery running at peak performance balances productivity and cost. As systems age, they often become less efficient, requiring more energy and more frequent repairs. The good news is that you don’t always need to invest in an entirely new machine to solve these problems.
