2nd Quarter 2015 Hydraulic systems & components

Flo-tech is a leading brand of portable testers and turbines for hydraulic fluids. Measuring water, oil, chemicals and other fluids, the range is manufactured by Badger Meter, an innovator in flow measurement and control. Flo-tech products are designed for field service, production testing, industrial processing and other applications requiring dependable accurate measurement at a reasonable cost.

The CE compliant, battery operated PFM hydraulic testers measure flow, pressure and temperature simultaneously, with an accuracy of ±1% full scale. They have flow rates up to 750 l/min and operating pressures up to 400 bar and can operate at temperatures up to 150°C.

The Flo-Check USB hydraulic system analysers represent the next generation of hydraulic test equipment. The line includes three additional models: PFM6, PFM6BD and PFM8. Flo-tech also offers a full line of turbine flow sensors in four models: Activa, Ultima, Classic and Quad. Features include simultaneous flow, pressure and temperature measurement, and the ability to capture pressure spikes up to 690 bar with a response time of ±0,2 milliseconds. Data is displayed and logged through a custom Windows-based software application and is received from the analyser through a standard USB cable. The Flo-Check USB is ideal for testing, troubleshooting and diagnosis in mobile and industrial hydraulic applications and for setting hydraulic components such as pumps, valves and motors. The unit is bi-directional and includes a low resistance load valve and internal pressure relief discs.
