The annual SAFPA Golf Day was held on Wednesday, 7 September at the Benoni Country Club. The competition took the form of a four-ball stableford alliance, with prizes for nearest the pin on the 8th, 2 club pin and the longest drive on the 18th, and a good time was had by all.
Festo was the winning team.
Winners received their prizes from Walter Zimmerman. Festo was the winning team, followed by Afripower in second place and Parkerstore Aeroton in third. Mark Tarbotan was nearest the pin, Mark Hamilton won the 2 club pin and the longest drive was achieved by Michael Gill.
