Artic Driers has launched a new range of low cost, inline coalescing filters with high-end features. The filters are manufactured to exacting ISO specifications and provide a cost-effective range of inline filters suitable for compressor house centralised air treatment or for end point positions. With port sizes from 1,3 to 6,3 cm, the flow rates through the casing meet international norms.
Elements are manufactured using a pleated filter construction, providing longer in-service life and lower pressure drops. The multilayer, microfibre, binder-free construction is supported internally and externally by stainless steel mesh. The final anti-re-entrainment colour coded sock provides a final barrier to contaminant carryover and makes identification of elements easy.
Elements are available in micron ranges from 0,001 to 3 μm with oil removal down to 0,003 ppm. They are colour coded for easy recognition and replacements are readily available. “Artic has always maintained a high after-care service level and longstanding supply chain relationships,” says CEO, Allen Cockfield. “The new range will be no exception. Our previous models were in the market for over 15 years with no change to the casing or element design. We plan to repeat this exercise again with the E series.”
Graduated differential pressure gauges and internal float drains are standard, at no extra cost. An optional timed auto drain is available for all casings. The die cast casings are rugged and very cost-effective, making them attractive for both the end-user and the reseller markets. Own-label branding is also an option.
