SAFPA recently held its first virtual technical meeting, which was a great success. It was presented by Colin Hood who gave an overview of SAFPA’s new hydraulic assembly skills and hose safety course, which has been adapted from the British Fluid Power course. This was followed by a productive Q&A; session and the feedback was very positive.
“I have been involved in the hydraulics Industry since 1990, fulfilling many positions including sales, distribution, marketing and management,” said Colin.
“Training has always been a passion of mine and I believe knowledge is power. I enjoy training newcomers to the industry, and I believe the skills and knowledge they acquire will ensure the future of the industry.”
