Obituary - Charmaine van der Westhuizen
Second Quarter 2007
SAFPA
For those who knew her, Charmaine was bubbling over with life. Full of energy and always there, ready to help. Her biggest passion was motorbike riding and sadly she was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident on Easter Monday at the age of 36.
A single mother, Charmaine started her career as a receptionist and pushed her way up the ranks to become a PA and then the office manager of Cost Time Resource. In that position, she also took on administrative responsibility for the South African Fluid Power Association (SAFPA). This responsibility extended to arranging all of SAFPA's business and social functions. Those that attended either of the last two annual dinners will remember her well. The Council members, the management of CTR and SAFPA members will miss her greatly.
She leaves behind her mother, two sisters and her wonderful son and daughter.
